Christmas Mosaic Design - 3 Week Course
Just in time for Christmas gifting! Bella Mosaica opens its studio to a three-week course offering titled "Christmas Mosaic Design".
Students will choose from a variety of Christmas wood project boards (approx. size 8-10" x 6-8") or non-Christmas boards and will be taught beginning design elements in creating a mosaic. Class #1 and #2 will focus on sketching a design onto a wood substrate and cutting glass to create design and movement. Class #3 will be further studio time to complete the glass portion of the mosaic. Grouting is included in an additional grouting session or is done by staff. This class will be taught by Bella staff and includes all materials needed to complete the project. Customer decides project shape and if they'd like the included grouting lesson outside of the three class sessions. There is a small studio fee for additional studio sessions if needed. No discounts may be applied to this class or the materials needed.

| Skill Details: | This course teaches basic sketching to create design. Glass cutting technique is taught to accomplish fitting glass to design. Students can decide to either take an additional free grouting lesson or have studio staff grout for them. |

| Instructor Bio: | Melissa will be teaching this course. She is the owner and operator of Bella Mosaica. She has many years of experience in large-scale mural drawing and painting, sketching, watercolor painting, oil painting and mosaic as well as experience in other art mediums. |
